Ruth Hollies

Ruth Hollies leads CBRE's European Forecasting team, which forecasts the key commercial real estate sectors across the UK and Europe. In this role, she oversees the team's core deliverables of comprehensive forecasts, presentations and economic briefings tailored to the critical questions facing the real estate sector. The team also contributes to a wide range of projects, building bespoke models and scenarios that supplement CBRE's existing market and sector intelligence.

After earning a BSc in Agricultural Economics from the University of London and an MSc in Economics from the University of Surrey, Ruth has more than two decades of experience in real estate across agencies, pension funds and a principal investor. In these roles, she produced commentary and presentations on economic trends and property markets, and analysed direct and indirect property portfolios to support investment strategy, asset management, investor reporting, new market research and the modelling of emerging opportunities.

Ruth is an accomplished business economist whose background across a range of business sectors brings a broader perspective to real estate. She writes clearly and concisely, and her team's modelling underpins data-driven recommendations that inform strategic decisions. Ruth is based in London and is a member of Real Estate:UK, the Society of Property Researchers and the Society of Professional Economists. Outside work, she enjoys yoga, walking and cycling, and is a keen ceramicist.
