  • The investment volume in the fourth quarter amounted to € 4.4 billion, 38% lower than in Q4 2021.
  • Inflationary pressure, higher interest rates and thus increased financing costs have a major influence on pricing, which has resulted in a considerably lower dynamic over the past three months.
  • Over the full year 2022, a decrease in investment volume of 4% has been registered.
  • A decline in the investment volume has been recorded in the larger asset classes. However, there were also positive exceptions, the investment volume in the retail (+9%), healthcare (+24%) and hotel investment markets (+112%) increased.
