Meeting, collaborating, innovating

Meeting, collaborating, innovating

We radically transformed this former garage building, which is in Amsterdam. But retaining the character of the building is also a priority. The design is open – The CORE will have few internal partitions – and there are four zones: the CBRE Café, the Client Lab, the Workshop and the Focus Zone. The internal design of the new office will promote and facilitate collaboration and give entrepreneurship ample space to flourish.
CBRE Cafe

CBRE Cafe

The CBRE Cafe is a welcoming place to meet. A place to get together with clients, suppliers and other visitors to The CORE. In the CBRE Cafe, you will find a bar with a barista serving excellent coffee, you can have breakfast and lunch, and there will be music. Working and meeting go hand in hand in the CBRE Cafe.
Client Lab

Client Lab

The Client Lab will facilitate creativity and innovation. These partly open, partly closed spaces – the walls are flexible – will provide plenty of room for collaboration with clients on new ideas and developments. In this part of the building, the emphasis is on working together. The Lab, equipped with a demo space, is also the place where we will be able to hold events.
Workshop

Workshop

The Workshop will be a place to develop ideas. Multidisciplinary teams can work at large tables, which can be reserved using the CBRE 360 app. The Workshop is a green environment – a place to get things done. It’s where great plans are made and details ironed out.
Focus zone

Focus zone

The Focus Zone, on the second floor of this converted garage building, is where we can really get down to work, thanks in part to the biodynamic lighting. There will be workstations of different types and sizes. This is where we can concentrate, make calculations, and prepare and write up our research.
