Barcelona's office market registered take-up of 73,000 sqm in Q4 2017. 

The lack of open-plan quality spaces in some of the most sought-after areas has led to an increase in pre-lets.

Among the lettings completed in Q4 2017, we would particularly note the letting of 10 office floors by Laboratorios Esteve in Edificio Marina.

During Q1 2017 this fell by almost 36,000 sqm and at year-end total available space stood at 607,000 sqm, equating to a vacancy rate of 10.7% of all office stock.

At year-end 2017, Barcelona's prime rent stood at €23.50 per sqm/month, an 8% y-o-y increase.
