Wageningen UR profiles itself as the green university, and that calls for a healthy working environment with a green character. The tone was set with the 2009 interior design for the Facilities and Services department, and since then it has been implemented in various buildings on campus. Three buildings belonging to the Environmental Sciences Group (ESG) were transformed into new, fresh work environments in which subgroups still discover something of their own identity. Various types of landscape provided the model for the interiors, while highly individual elements add notes of surprise. Since 2012 the heart of the campus is formed by Impulse, an inspiring podium for all sorts of activities and encounters.
