Intensive cooperation in the sale of an office building achieves results that exceed all of the client’s expectations.
The challenge While CBRE was working on another project for this client, the subject of the property on the Boschdijk in Eindhoven came up. This office building is no longer part of the client’s core portfolio and, in that sense, it has ceased to have any strategic value. Thanks to its proactive approach, CBRE has been commissioned to sell the property for a predetermined sale price, within an extremely short period of time (approximately six weeks).
Our approach Two business lines, Capital Markets Amsterdam and Advisory & Transaction Services Investors Eindhoven, cooperated intensively on this contract. This produced the perfect marriage of knowledge of the sales process and knowledge of the local market.
Implementation Intensive cooperation was of pivotal importance during this dynamic and challenging process. Cooperation between the two business lines and, more especially, with the client. As a result, the marketing tools were set up within four days and the property was sold within a month.
Results During this project, CBRE exceeded the client’s expectations in three ways. The final gross sales price of €2.15 million significantly exceeded the client’s expectations. CBRE’s comprehensive approach helped it to quickly establish a relationship of trust and confidence with its client. In addition, the entire process was completed within the six-week deadline that was agreed in advance.
