Dr. Nick Axford, CBRE’s Head of Global Research, has more than 20 years’ experience in private sector real estate research and consultancy, and has worked for CBRE since 1994. In this global role, Nick is responsible for coordinating the activities of the CBRE Global Research team, which comprises more than 500 specialists in countries around the world.
Nick and his team ensure that a full and innovative range of research, analysis and consultancy services is provided for the Company’s clients. Regional and local teams in The Americas, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and Asia Pacific provide specific support to colleagues and clients within their region, with Nick and a team of global specialists ensuring coordination and collaboration on multi-regional analysis and reports.
Prior to being named Global Head of Research in 2013, Nick led the CBRE research practice in two major regions: Asia Pacific and EMEA. Based in Hong Kong, Nick most recently led the 140-person Asia Pacific Research team. Before relocating from London in 2010, Nick was responsible for the company’s EMEA Research activities, a position he held since 1998.
Nick is a regular presenter at leading industry conferences and events, appearing frequently in the print and broadcast media commenting on topical issues relating to the commercial real estate market.
