Christy Ingle oversees Public Relations for CBRE in the Americas. In this role, she sets communications strategy designed to advance the firm’s brand, enhance its thought leadership position, and drive business outcomes for its full platform of commercial real estate services.
With almost 20 years of combined agency and corporate experience, Christy leverages a thorough understanding of corporate strategy in order to develop and execute communications/PR campaigns for a wide variety of audiences and stakeholders. Having spent almost eight years managing consumer PR campaigns for major brands including Coors Brewing Company, Jamba Juice and Mercedes Benz, Christy brings a unique approach to PR in the corporate, business-to-business environment that includes uncovering creative story angles that capture the attention of journalists and drive social media engagement.
In her current role leading PR in the Americas for CBRE, Christy leads a team of more than a dozen local market PR professionals in the Americas, directing communications strategy and messaging across a variety of earned, owned and paid channels. She partners closely with the firm’s Corporate Communications team, Digital Marketing team, and Americas Research team to implement effective thought leadership and content marketing strategies designed to advance business goals and objectives. Christy also supports senior leadership in the company in the development of executive communications, presentations, speeches, and a variety of internal communications initiatives.
Among her most successful campaigns at CBRE is the launch of the company’s Workplace Strategy initiative, “Workplace360” in the United States. A comprehensive PR, social and digital strategy around the opening of the company’s corporate headquarters office in Los Angeles in 2013 generated hundreds of media placements and was one of the company’s most engaged social media campaigns. In addition, she oversaw the development of a video about Workplace360 that became the company’s most viewed video ever.
During her almost 12-year tenure at CBRE, Christy has received several national awards for her work. In 2008, she received the Marketing/Communications MVP Award, and in both 2010 and 2013, she received the Manager’s Innovation Award, a national leadership award which recognizes individuals who have introduced new or changed business practices, models or technological applications that have made a material, positive difference.
Prior to her role leading PR for the Americas, Christy led PR in the Western Division, and in the company’s Southern California market. In her local market role, she oversaw all aspects of external communications including PR, social media, advertising and sponsorships, as well as internal communications.
Before joining CBRE, she was a Vice President and head of the West Coast Consumer Practice for Euro RSCG Magnet, a national PR firm owned by Havas Worldwide. While working on the agency side of the PR business, she developed and implemented PR campaigns for major national and global brands.
Christy holds a Master’s Degree in Communications from California State University, Fullerton and a Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of California, Riverside. She is accredited in public relations by the Public Relations Society of America, and is a former PRSA local chapter president.
Christy is also an active
community volunteer, serving as a Board Member for various local
organizations including Little League and Relay for Life, an American
Cancer Society awareness and fundraising event.
